A new horizon for the people of Bangladesh.

নতুন দিগন্তের পথে যাত্রা

Our story

Why we started Nabodiganta

Nabodiganta was founded in 2026 by development workers, teachers and young volunteers who grew up in rural Bangladesh. We have seen how a classroom, a health visit, a small loan or a safe home can change a family’s future — and how many families along the Jamuna river are still left out.

We chose the name Nabodiganta — "a new horizon" — because we want every family we work with to see new possibilities. We are starting small, in five districts around our home in Tangail, and will grow step by step with the communities we serve.

We are inspired by Bangladesh's NGO tradition — organisations like BRAC, Grameen Bank and ASA that helped the country make remarkable progress in child survival, girls' education and women's economic participation — and we want to carry that work forward for a new generation.
